This is an extract from the diaries of Corporal Hannigan who fought with the One World Government. Although saturated with propaganda against the Emperor, it is still of historical importance as one of the oldest written accounts of The Emperor going back to battle for Earth itself. Another bitter cold day day. I can only just about manage to write. The Emperor’s forces come in wave after wave. It’s like they are possessed and they care nothing about their lives. I try to stay positive, think of home back in Navan but its difficult. The rest of Europe has already been lost.

We had to fall back. Still getting pummeled by artillery and buster bombs from the sky. No tactical nuclear weapons used yet like in Brussels and Bonn.
November 19th
I seen him! He was about a mile away. I hit him in the shoulder but he barely budged. What they say about him must be true – he is some sort of parasitic alien that drains the life force of his subjects. What are we to do.
